Since its inception in May 2001, Chic Streets has grown to a one-stop shop for the style savvy. Each of our accessories are curated from founder, Julie McGonagle, a passionate buyer for shopping just the right pieces and designers.
Our boutique carries up to the moment women's accessories from emerging to established designers. Our philosophy is offer quality accessories that mesh trends with timeless, classic details. Chic Streets appeals to the woman who loves a touch of glam with effortless appeal.
Chic Streets has been featured in media publications such as US Weekly, The Boston Herald and the Boston Globe. Collections from the boutique were also spotted in Adam Sandler’s “Grown Ups 2.”
Julie's background in retail and marketing prompted her to a stint in Los Angeles while in graduate school for the Style Network on E! Entertainment. “After producing segments about high fashion style-makers and spotting West Coast trends, I was ready to bring my passion back to Boston, a smaller market who seemed to lag behind the style meccas of NY and L.A.” Her vision was to offer personal expertise from shopping at major markets, trade shows, and street trends.
Based out Boston, Julie is also available for personal styling services. Her style is simply shopping the classics with a blend of on-trend elements.
