Since its inception in May 2001, Chic Streets has morphed from a side business with an entrepreneurial dream in style blogging into a destination for the style-savvy, who are looking for on-trend, effortless style with a touch of glam! 

Founder Julie McGonagle completed her M.A. in Los Angeles, and was looking to share her experience in radio, adverting and tv. After a stint with the Style Network on E! Entertainment she was ready to bring some of the west coast back to Boston. “After producing fashion segments on style makers and immersing myself with the LA style I was ready to bring a vision back to Boston”. The vision began as a buyer, then to an online website, personal styling, and pop ups.

Notably, Chic Streets has been recognized by local media and national media like US weekly, and collaborated locally on Adam Sandler’s film, Grown Ups.

Chic Streets operated as a retail pop up for two years while having the pleasure of working with local Boston personalities and grow as a local niche boutique in the North Shore.

Today, Chic Streets’ retail location is 43 Atlantic Ave in historic Marblehead, MA.  Multi branded designers and varied price points, along with a savvy sales team create an exciting experience for our shoppers. We offer styling services and love to make each client feel her absolute best when shopping with us.
